MP Metals in Ixonia, Wisconsin, is dedicated to custom roll-forming metal shapes to meet the needs of our clients.

We specialize in roll-forming ferrous and non-ferrous metals into a variety of shapes, moldings, tubes, channels, hat shapes, zee shapes, rings, panels, angles, trim, frames, and accessories. We have a variety of specialty pre- and post-fabrications available, as well as extensive coating, painting, sealing, cladding and treating options.

Our roll formed parts can be found in hundreds of industries including agricultural, residential and industrial construction, windows and doors, food service, HVAC, automotive, warehousing, communications, and many more.

We also provide pre and post-fabrication and coatings. Design assistance is also available to provide economical solutions and alternatives. We are family-owned and operated.

Our History

The company's history dates back to the 1960s when the founder, Henry T. Geib, Sr., began producing individual aluminum siding corners in a former church basement in Hartland, Wisconsin, for various aluminum siding manufacturers. This was during the peak of aluminum siding popularity, before steel, hardboard, and later vinyl residential siding became dominant in the market.

The production of stamped corners expanded to include roll formed siding accessories such as "J" trim, "L" molding, starter strips, under-sill trim, fascia, and soffits. The company did not manufacture mainstream siding but provided accessories to supplement the product lines of other manufacturers.

Production relocated from the church basement to a refrigerator service building in Hartland, Wisconsin. Over time, additional buildings were added until the company outgrew the landlocked neighborhood. At the suggestion of a friend in the banking business, the company moved to available farmland in Ixonia, Wisconsin around 1970 and has since established its current location, which encompasses 80,000 square feet.

As the business expanded, our expertise in roll forming grew, resulting in the production of shapes for other industries. The company began roll forming building panels and accessories for pole barns preferred by farmers and the agricultural sector. Next came privately labeled panels and accessories for steel building manufacturers. Hardboard siding trims evolved into specialty building products and then components for hospital beds, motorcycle headlamps, seating struts, overhead door parts, plastic skid stiffeners, solar panel supports, roofing hats, in-floor heat transfer plates, and transportation profiles.

MP Metal Products is excited to announce its certification renewal from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015. As a part of the ISO certification process, MP Metal Products engaged in a rigorous audit of its business and manufacturing processes, as well as product quality requirements. MP Metals receive the ORBIS "Supplier of the Month Gallis Award" for January 2020

The Gallis Award recognizes the ORBIS Supplier of the Month and is conferred upon suppliers and individuals that have proactively stepped-up to take whatever actions are necessary to support the ORBIS Value Proposition. The ORBIS Value Proposition is our commitment to provide the Highest Level of Quality, Service, and On-time Delivery, with Flawless Execution.

Morgan Geib and the entire team of MP Metal Products are hereby recognized as the recipients of the ORBIS "Supplier of the Month Gallis Award" for January 2020. The award is being presented to MP Metal Products because of their level of quality and service with production of roll-formed steel parts.

MP Metal Products is a new supplier to ORBIS of roll-formed steel parts (e.g., steel fork strap bars used in bulk bases). The existing ORBIS-owned tooling provided to them was incomplete, and they were tasked with being production ready in less than two months. After adapting the tooling to their production, producing sample parts, and meeting our deadline, MP encountered a motor failure on their mill. They immediately reached out to ORBIS and provided a solution to ensure supply of parts would not be cut off. This included repairing the existing motor, ultimately replacing it, and providing laser cut/press formed parts (at their expense) in lieu of roll formed parts. There were many hurdles and setbacks throughout this process including retrofit issues on the mill, wiring problems, drive line problems, and clutch issues. MP was always honest and transparent with ORBIS throughout the process. Due to MP's decisive actions and dedication to ORBIS as a customer, the material requirements were met at the ORBIS plants.

In gratitude for MP Metal's "Game Winning Touchdown" by product as requested, an authentic NFL Football is being presented to Morgan and the entire ORBIS Strategic Sourcing Team.
