MP Metals can make your parts from a variety of materials

MP Metal Products processes metal coil, strip and sheet in gage thickness from 0.005" up to 0.165", and widths up to 48" depending on the profile. Materials are typically ordered as required to meet customer delivery dates. We are usually able to accommodate special requirements for finishes, physical and chemical properties, and certification.

Aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, and bronze are popular choices for roll forming. The metal alloy you choose must be somewhat malleable; brittle or hardened metals are not the best choice.

Aluminum
Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and highly formable, making it ideal for roofing, cladding, and transportation. Chosen for its durability and ease of processing.
Carbon Steel
Strong and cost-effective, used in construction, automotive, and industrial applications. Preferred for its structural integrity and weldability.
Mild Steel

Brass

Mill-Finished
The raw, untreated state of metal directly from manufacturing, retaining a dull or rough surface with visible die lines or marks. Commonly used where cost-effectiveness or an unpolished aesthetic is preferred.
Aluminized
Steel coated with aluminum for enhanced corrosion and heat resistance. Ideal for applications exposed to high temperatures, such as exhaust systems or roofing.
Galvanized
Steel coated with zinc to prevent rust and corrosion. Widely used in construction, automotive, and outdoor applications for durability.
Pre-painted

Post-painted

Cladding

Pickled
Acid-treated metal to remove surface impurities, improving finish and adhesion for coatings. Frequently used in automotive and structural applications.
Oiled
Metal treated with a thin oil layer to prevent oxidation and corrosion before further processing. Useful for transportation and storage of steel.
Textured
Surface modified to create patterns, reducing glare and improving grip. Often used in decorative or functional applications, such as flooring or wall panels.
Wood Grain

Powder Coated

Embossed
